1. Data Sources

Every numeric data point on this site comes from one of the following public APIs:

• CoinGecko Public API — prices, market caps, historical data (cached 60 seconds)
• Alternative.me — Fear & Greed Index (cached daily)
• Etherscan — gas fees, on-chain stablecoin mint/burn
• Exchange public endpoints (Binance, Bybit, OKX, Bitget, Bithumb, Upbit) — funding rates, kimchi premium
• Blockstream API — Bitcoin block height for halving countdown
• European Central Bank FX — fiat conversion rates
• SoSoValue / Farside — ETF flow data (cached daily after market close)

If a primary source fails, we display the last cached value with a visible timestamp and a warning banner.

2. AI Assistance Disclosure

Per Google Search Central guidelines, we disclose all AI use:

• Translation between 14 languages: Google Gemini 2.5 Flash + human review
• Article drafting: Claude Opus 4.7 + human editor review before publication
• Calculator math: No AI — pure client-side JavaScript with documented formulas
• Comparison rankings: No AI — explicit criteria scored manually (see Methodology)

3. Fact-Checking Process

Before publication, every article passes through:

1. Source verification — every claim links to its primary source
2. Numeric audit — calculations re-run against a second data source
3. Editor review — one of Marcus Chen, Sofia Martinez, David O'Connor reviews and signs off
4. Translation review — native-speaker spot-check for top 5 languages

4. Corrections

We correct factual errors visibly with a dated note at the top of the article. Email corrections@cryptoalertai.com to report an error. We do not silently rewrite history.

5. Affiliate Disclosure

Some links to exchanges and products are affiliate links. We earn a commission if you sign up via these links at no additional cost to you. Affiliate relationships do not influence our editorial ratings. Every affiliate link is marked above the table of contents.

6. Update Frequency

• Calculator data: 60 seconds to daily depending on source (see each tool footer)
• Educational content: reviewed quarterly
• Exchange comparisons: re-scored monthly
• Tax content: reviewed after each annual jurisdiction update

7. Conflict of Interest

Editors must disclose holdings of any asset they write about. We do not accept paid placements disguised as editorial content. We do not accept payment from token issuers for favorable coverage.
