What is a funding rate?

On perpetual futures, the funding rate is a periodic payment between long and short holders to keep the perp price aligned with spot. Positive funding = longs pay shorts (bullish sentiment, often a contrarian sell signal). Negative funding = shorts pay longs (bearish sentiment, often a contrarian buy signal).

Arbitrage opportunities

When funding diverges significantly between exchanges (e.g., Binance +0.05%, OKX -0.02%), neutral cash-and-carry arbitrage becomes profitable. We highlight pairs with spread > 0.05%.

⚠ OKX and Bitget public APIs require CORS proxy; rates shown for Binance & Bybit only in this free view. Pro subscribers receive all 5 exchanges with sub-minute updates.
